Calling out to all who live in the maritime provinces or who have had experience touring there...

Couple of friends and I are planning a summer tour. We were remembering how fun it was to see a small whale in the Saguenay fjord a couple years ago and are thinking about hitting the Canadian maritime provinces. Our point of entry would be Saint Stephen. From there we would either head north to Gaspe QC or east to Glace Bay NS. Both appear to be about 500 miles from St. Stephen. That distance may prove to be too much but just in case I am wondering how the roads, fuel supplies, and lodging are in those far reaches. Got advice?

Update: Gaspe looks out of reach but maybe Bathurst QC, Summerside PE, or Dartmouth NS....?

Woof

Remember your passports and make sure no one has any "jailable" offense in their background. I got cuffed and turned away for a DUI from 1993, only 3 years ago!

...and after 20 years, that's ridiculous. Anyway, there's more than enough to see Stateside imo.

You just didn't do it right, Jamie.
It would never have happened if you were a Syrian refugee.

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Could it have been the cooler strapped to the back of your ride that gave the border guard second thoughts?

No, as it was a work meeting. However, if I told them I was going to the "ballet" or the casino, I'm sure they would have waved me right through!

Ha! Yes right. I am sure. I'd skip the casino but gotta love those Canadian ballet dancers. They keep their boyfriends warm at night!
